Kohl’s Distribution Center Tour

This Friday, February 24th, we will be touring Kohl’s distribution center in Blue Springs, Missouri. The tour will begin at 10am and end around 11:30am. There is about a 50 minute drive, so please plan accordingly, and we can carpool or arrange transportation if we have enough people signed up. Please sign up in the “Contact Us” tab.

Kohl’s is currently seeking Distribution Center Interns for the summer, so this would be a great opportunity to get introduced to a company looking for supply chain students.

Welcome to the Supply Chain Website

Welcome to the University of Kansas Supply Chain Management Club. Our purpose is to provide KU Business School students with educational opportunities to better prepare them for a career in business and supply chain management.

Throughout the school year, we travel across the country to learn from some of the largest names in the industry, bring in guest speakers from regional companies, and send students to local and national conferences hosted by professional organizations. All of these opportunities provide students a real-world view of supply chain management.

As a rapidly growing field, we encourage all students to gain some experience in SCM. With one of the top supply chain undergraduate programs in the country, there’s no better place to accomplish this than KU. We have seen large growth in our membership in a very short time, as students and supporters begin to understand how important supply chain management is to the business world.

Reinventing ourselves to better connect with and provide opportunities for our students, our school, and our corporate supporters is our top priority. We want to offer the best experience possible to everyone involved, and communication is the key to accomplishing that goal.

So we invite you to join us and stay connected with the Supply Chain Management Club here on our new website. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, visit our contact page and send us a message. We’ll be happy to hear from you. Be sure also to visit the calendar page to see our upcoming events and the internships page to view internship and full-time job opportunities available to current and graduating students.

Thank you for your interest in the SCM Club, and we hope to see you soon.

Best Regards,

Tim Needham

President
